In the spring of 2015, I went to Pendarvis Farms with Justin Longerbeam to write music. He packed up our instruments, and took me for a hike into the woods of the farm, to The Woods Stage. I had only seen it in photographs and legends of Pickathon, and felt so lucky to get to perform on it that day for an audience of one, and several talkative birds.
